Unlimited Pocket WiFi in Turkey for Streaming, Calls and Remote Work
If you use a lot of data when you travel, a data package that runs out on day three is the last thing you want. An unlimited pocket WiFi in Turkey from StayinWifi gives you unlimited 4G/5G internet on Turkcell's network for up to 6 phones, tablets and laptops at once, so video calls, photo uploads, maps and a bit of evening streaming do not have to be rationed. This page is for heavy users: what "unlimited" means with us, which kinds of use it is made for, and where the fair usage policy draws the line.

What unlimited means with StayinWifi
There is no data package to top up and no gigabyte counter to watch. You switch the device on, connect with the password on the screen and use the internet for the whole rental period. As with every mobile network, a Fair Usage Policy applies: speeds may be reduced if usage is excessive, and the mobile operator reviews usage periodically. We would rather explain that honestly up front than promise something no mobile connection can deliver.
Heavy use it is made for
The device is designed for the everyday internet needs of you, your family and your travel companions. That covers far more than light browsing:
- Video calls with family, friends or colleagues back home.
- Navigation and ride apps running all day while you explore.
- Social media, including uploading photos and videos from your trip.
- WhatsApp and email on every phone in the group at the same time.
- Everyday laptop work: messages, documents, web apps and online meetings.
Because the device shares one connection, several people can do all of this in parallel without anyone switching off their data to save the package.
The fair usage policy, in plain words
A pocket WiFi is a travel device, not a replacement for home internet. Our terms and conditions list the kinds of use that fall outside its purpose:
- Continuous downloading or uploading of very large files.
- Torrent or other P2P applications.
- Downloading console or computer games, or large software and operating system updates.
- Intensive IPTV or similar continuous video streaming, or leaving a smart TV streaming for hours.
- Commercial use, server hosting or using the device as permanent home internet.
If usage like this is detected, the operator may slow the connection or suspend the line, and a suspended line can only be reactivated through StayinWifi for a fee. In practice this means: stream a film in the evening, make your calls, upload your photos, but set big updates and game downloads to wait until you are home.
Working remotely from Turkey
Digital nomads and business travellers often ask whether a pocket WiFi is enough for a working week. For typical remote work, such as email, chat, shared documents and video meetings, it is a practical choice, and a laptop connects just like a phone. A few habits help:
- Turn off automatic cloud backups and system updates on the laptop while you travel.
- Keep the device near a window if the signal indoors is weak.
- Plug it into the included power bank for long sessions away from a socket.
Wondering whether your phone's own hotspot would do the same job? We compare the two in our mobile hotspot guide.
Speed with several devices connected
Up to 6 devices can be connected at the same time. Speed and coverage depend on the local network, signal strength, network density and how many devices are online, so a busy group streaming on every screen will notice it more than two people using maps. The battery lasts 8–10 hours on average, and a power bank, charging cable and adapter are included in the box. The device works only inside Turkey. For groups larger than six, book a second device.
Price and booking
Unlimited pocket WiFi starts from €5.90 per day. All prices are shown on the website before you pay and there are no hidden fees. You can rent for days, weeks or a whole month, and longer rentals get a discount, which suits long stays and remote work trips. Payment is by 3D Secure card.
Choose your dates, a pick-up point and the number of devices on the booking form. You can collect the device 24/7 at Istanbul Airport, Sabiha Gökçen Airport or Trabzon Airport, or have it delivered to your hotel or Airbnb; all options are on the pick-up locations page.
