İzmir Airport WiFi: Pocket WiFi for Your Aegean Trip
Planning to fly into İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) and explore the Aegean? An İzmir Airport WiFi rental from StayinWifi works a little differently from our Istanbul airports: there is no StayinWifi pick-up desk at ADB. Instead, your pocket WiFi is delivered to your hotel or holiday home, or you collect it on the way if you travel through Istanbul. Once it is in your hands, up to 6 phones, tablets or laptops share unlimited 4G/5G data from İzmir's seafront to Çeşme, Alaçatı and Ephesus.

Getting the device when you fly into İzmir
You choose how the device reaches you in the booking form. The confirmed options are:
- Hotel delivery: select the Hotel Delivery tab, then İzmir as the province, your district and the hotel name.
- Delivery to an address: for a villa, summer house or rented flat, use Address / Other when it is shown in the form; delivery is possible anywhere in Turkey.
- Pick-up in Istanbul: if you start your trip in Istanbul, collect it 24/7 at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen and take it with you.
See every pick-up and return point on the locations page.
Before you land at ADB
Because the device is waiting where you stay, a little preparation makes arrival easy:
- Save your accommodation address and car-hire or transfer details offline.
- Download offline maps of İzmir and the coast you are heading to.
- Remember that free public airport WiFi usually needs verification and is time-limited, and roaming on a home plan can be costly.
When you arrive, switch the pocket WiFi on, enter the password shown on its screen and everyone is connected. No app, no SIM swap.
A tip if you are hiring a car: set the delivery address to the first place you will actually sleep. If you drive straight from the airport to Çeşme or Kuşadası, enter the address there rather than a hotel in İzmir. Staying in a holiday house and not sure which option fits? Ask us on WhatsApp before you book.
Built for Aegean road trips
İzmir is a gateway to one of Turkey's most varied regions, and many visitors spend their holiday on the move. The device runs on the Turkcell and Türk Telekom networks across Turkey, so it comes along wherever you drive:
- Çeşme and Alaçatı: beach days, restaurant searches and sharing photos without hunting for café WiFi.
- Ephesus and Selçuk: navigation to the site, tickets on your phone and audio guides.
- On the road: a co-driver running the map while passengers in the back stay online on their own devices.
Group trips are where a pocket WiFi really helps: friends sharing a rental car or a family in a holiday house all connect to one device, instead of each person buying and registering a local SIM card. Your own SIM stays in your phone, so messages to your usual number keep arriving. With the 8–12 hour battery and the power bank in the box, one charge covers a long day out. One device, several cities
Combining İzmir with Istanbul, Cappadocia or the south coast? You do not need a new connection in every city. Keep the same device for the whole itinerary and return it at the end; our guide to WiFi rental for a multi-city trip explains how.
What the rental includes
- Unlimited internet on 4G/5G, under a fair use policy.
- Up to 6 connected devices per modem; book more than one for larger groups.
- Power bank, charging cable and adapter.
- An embedded SIM, so your own SIM and number stay in your phone.
Price, booking and return
Rental starts from €5.90 per day with no hidden fees; all prices, including any shipping fee, are shown before you pay. Rent daily, weekly or monthly with a discount for longer rentals, pay by 3D Secure card and cancel free of charge up to 24 hours ahead. Book on the reservation form.
At the end of your trip, have the device collected from an address or drop it at one of our airport return points if you fly home via Istanbul. Return the device with its power bank, cable and adapter; fees for lost items are in our FAQ. Our team answers 24/7 on WhatsApp, weekends included.
