How to get a device in Antalya

You pick the delivery method in the booking form. For Antalya, these are the options:

• Hotel delivery: choose the Hotel Delivery tab, select the province and district, and enter the hotel or residence name and room number.
• Delivery to an address: staying in a villa or a rented flat? When the Address / Other option is shown in the form, the device can be delivered to any address in Turkey.
• Pick-up on the way: if your trip starts in Istanbul, you can collect the device 24/7 at Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen and bring it with you to the coast.

Hotel and resort delivery

Hotel WiFi is shared with every other guest and stops at the edge of the property, so it rarely helps by the sea or on an excursion. A pocket WiFi gives your group its own private connection that goes wherever you go.

Delivery works the same for a large beach hotel in Lara, a boutique hotel in the old town or an apartment in Konyaaltı: enter the full address, including the hotel name and room number, so the device reaches the right person. Beach, old town and day trips

The device works everywhere in Turkey on the Turkcell and Türk Telekom 4G/5G networks, so it is not tied to your hotel. Typical ways travellers use it on an Antalya holiday:

• On the beach: music, messages and photo uploads without draining your phone, with the power bank in your beach bag.
• In Kaleiçi: maps through the narrow streets, restaurant reviews and translation apps.
• On day trips: boat tours, waterfalls, ancient sites and nearby resort towns, with navigation and booking confirmations on hand.
• Staying reachable: your own SIM stays in your phone, so calls and texts to your usual number still arrive.

Returning the device

At the end of your stay you can have the device collected from an address, or return it at another point such as Istanbul Airport or Sabiha Gökçen if you fly home via Istanbul. Antalya Airport WiFi: your first hour after landing

There is no StayinWifi pick-up point at Antalya Airport (AYT): our 24/7 airport points are Istanbul Airport, Sabiha Gökçen and Trabzon. For Antalya, the device waits at your hotel, or you collect it in Istanbul if your route connects there and switch it on again when you land at AYT. Free public airport WiFi usually needs a verification step and is time-limited, and roaming on your home plan can be expensive outside the EU, so prepare a few things before you fly:

• Save your hotel address, transfer voucher and booking confirmation offline on your phone.
• Download offline maps of the Antalya area.
• Tell family your arrival time in advance, in case you cannot message them straight away.

Once you reach the hotel, switch the pocket WiFi on, enter the password shown on its screen, and the parents' phones, the children's tablet and a laptop all join the same network.
