Couples and solo travellers
For two people, one modem is plenty. Both phones join the same WiFi, and there is still room for a tablet or a laptop. Whoever carries the bag carries the connection, so it helps to stay together on day trips, or to agree on a meeting point before splitting up.

Families with children

Remember that connection performance can vary with signal strength and the number of devices connected, so a group of five with laptops and phones may be happier with two modems than one.

- Email, video calls, messaging and cloud documents are everyday use and fit well.

Long stays and multi-city trips
