Discover Turkey's Vibrant Nightlife from Istanbul
Turkey's nightlife is at its liveliest in Istanbul, where rooftop bars in Beyoğlu, jazz in Galata and clubs on the Bosphorus shore keep going late. In summer the scene moves to the coast: Bodrum's Bar Street, Kemer near Antalya, and İzmir's Alsancak district with the beach clubs of Alaçatı.

İzmir and Alaçatı

Tips for a night out in Turkey
- Check that the venue is open. Coastal clubs are seasonal and the Istanbul scene changes quickly; look at the venue's own page or social account on the day.
- Ask about entry and minimum spend. Bosphorus clubs often work with reservations, and prices on the menu are the ones you pay.
- Plan the way back. Use a taxi app or a licensed taxi, and share your location with friends.
Stay connected on a night out
A pocket WiFi you collect at Istanbul Airport connects up to 6 phones on the Turkcell and Türk Telekom networks, so the whole group can find the venue, order a taxi and stay in touch. It works in Istanbul and on the coast; actual speed depends on local mobile coverage. See StayinWifi pocket WiFi rental for prices.
Travelling around the country? Rent a WiFi router in Turkey keeps you online from the airport to your hotel.
